Work is demoralizing me. Peak passes agonizingly slow, yet days go by painfully fast. Staffing issues force us to handle high level things that we're not yet suppose to handle at our level. Inequitable returns puts us off work.

A friend's leave application for June was rejected today. Reason: everyone else is going on leave. Wtf? What kind of fair employment practice is this? Leave is our right and entitlement, not a privilege. My friend then said she needed to clear leave since June is our year end. Reply was that they have extended the leave expiry to end of the year. How convenient. Bastards. First we can't block TOIL. Now this. And you tell your staff to clock actual hours worked "because it's only ethical to do so" but tell the managers to watch the hours clocked down. How sly. How repulsive. And you wonder why the TO is so high.

We put in the damn hours, it is only right that we are allowed to redeem those hours.
